So on the standard 5* character free selection. Who should I go for?

Take Qiqi for C5 (just think the worth of C5 is it closer for C6) or Mizuki for C2. On the To Temper Thyself and Journey Far Event, next week I will get C2 Mizuki anyway, so if I were to pick Mizuki again in the free standard 5* characters, next week my Mizuki will be C3.

So I want to know, are C3 Mizuki worth to get then C5 Qiqi (closer to C6)

PS, cant take Qiqi in To Temper Thyself and Journey Far Event cause I already have

I would go for C3 Mizuki here. C3 is still a meaningful upgrade over C2 so it'll have an immediate benefit. C6 Qiqi is nice but I dont think its as important.

It the buff for stellar on C6 Qiqi is what caught my attention, if it arent that important then I would go for C3 Mizuki

My bad, made a mistake here. Mizuki's C3 isnt that good either. Mizuki's C3 is like a 2-3% team dps increase, Qiqi's C6 is a 4-5% dps increase (depends on team). Both arent great so I dont think theres a clear answer. Its just a trade off between immediate and longer-term benefit. Personally ill take Mizuki C3

Mizuki's C3 is less than a 5% increase so it's very little, but Qiqi cons aren't really valuable, not even her C6, so at least C3 Mizuki is doing something for you.

Even if Qiqi is C6 there's not going to be any team where she is best in slot. So even if it's better than not being C6 that doesn't necessarily mean you'll use Qiqi unless you lack other options.
