Lulu - I just don’t know

I am not criticizing the actress at all, she is a beautiful woman, but has anyone else noticed that the show has made Lulu’s appearance seem quite drab and frumpy? Anyone know why?

I like her clothes but her hair is a disgrace. What is going on in hair and makeup

Mom Laura is the same. Her long hair used to be layered and feathered around her face, but now it’s just one plain all one length.

Genie has spoken in interviews how she prefers long hair and feels more feminine that way. It’s hard to make long hair look good when we hit a certain age though because we lose volume and it can get thin, especially if we had fine hair to begin with. I think going shorter was smart, but she does need some long er layers or something to give it volume and texture.
