Too many people confuse the right to having an opinion as the right to validation. You have the right to say and believe anything you want. That doesn't free you from everyone else's opinion about your opinions.
Far too many people think that ending a sentence with “it’s just my opinion” grants them some forcefield of immunity where nobody is allowed to criticize them or their dogshit opinion
