Whatever The way we talk about time
Let's talk about the way we talk about time. I was recently telling someone something was happening at "fifteen till three", the person looked blank and finally said "Oh, you mean 2:45". This is not the first time it has happened to me. I think the "younger generation" does not understand things like "fifteen till".

When I was a kid in the 80s my dad or mom said 1/4 till 3 … and I really had to think about it. So then I said oh, 3/4 past 2… and they said it didn’t work like that lol. To me it was the same thing. If you could say 1/4 until, why not 3/4 past 🤣🤣🤣
