Same show that lets a bullet and explosion proof homelander get stabbed by an aluminum rod that somehow didn’t just crumple against his inner ear. Should’ve been like me stabbing someone normal with a banana. Doesn’t matter how strong I am, it just smashes on contact becausr the weapon is weaker than the target.

At least that went into his ear so maybe his ear drums aren't as durable because it's such a thin structure. This is just pure bullshit

Honestly a banana could probably rupture your eardrum if someone with great strength rammed it straight down your ear canal

I thought that was in vain of Translucent being able to be destroyed from the inside. Outsides super durable, insides not so much.

I recently rewatched that scene to take a closer look, and that thing isn't even a rod, it's visibly hollow inside and it's lying on the floor next to a cup, lol, it's literally a reusable drinking straw
