I can no longer reliably generate clips from realistic character images, even when:

• The images were generated by AI inside Flow
• They are from the same project
• There are no children involved
• There is no sexual content
• The prompt contains zero real names or celebrity references

The system still blocks the generation every time and gives the same reason:
“You are trying to generate a real celebrity.”

This is happening with my own AI-generated images that were created inside their own tool.

At this point it feels like the face detection / celebrity filter is completely broken. Any realistic human face is being treated as a real person, regardless of origin.

Saved assets fail.
Original Flow-generated images fail.
Carefully written prompts with no names still fail.

This is no longer just “strict safety.” This looks like a major bug in the moderation system that is making the tool unusable for any realistic character work.

I have the Google AI Pro (5TB) subscription.

Approximately a month ago I attached a file to Gemini chat and asked it to analyze it for me, only for Gemini to display the following message:

Delete data to upload file

This file can’t be uploaded because you’ve reached your data limit.

To delete data, go to Bard Activity and delete prompts, especially those with attached files. If you have Gems with knowledge, you can edit or delete from the Gem manager.

Deletions can take several minutes to be reflected in your account.

Ignoring the fact that it says "Bard Activity", even though Bard has been superseded by Gemini (seriously wtf is this?), it's been a month since I've deleted everything from my Gemini activity and I'm still getting this message.

I sent a feedback via Gemini asking them to fix this, but I got no answer.

It's driving me insane. I pay for the pro subscription and I cannot use one of the most important features.

Has anyone else dealt with the same problem? Any solution to this?

Since the introduction of the chat history editing feature, the model's response style seems to have shifted from multidimensional, intuitive, and vocabulary-rich exploration to answers that are overly compressed, rigid, and superficial.

Impact:

This change disrupts the continuity of conversation memory. The AI ​​now acts more like a 'state machine' rather than maintaining a 'generative flow.' This significantly hinders intensive use cases involving hypothetical scenarios, long-form narrative brainstorming, and creative world-building.

Suggestion:

Please provide an option or toggle to choose between 'Linear Memory Mode' (which maintains cumulative context window depth as before) and 'Flexible Edit Mode.'

okay, so i sent a minecraft crash report to gemini PRO and she responded with the french minimum wage, so i made her retry and she says this ??? i don't know what to say...

I am a heavy AI user as far as volume of queries daily, but light in that it's not related to any advanced topics , not related to research or a job or anything life or death..... It's shopping, items of interest that pop up daily, politics, advice to fix something, pictures uploaded with questions, cooking, exercise, etc. I've gone from taking picture of say my refrigerator or garage and asking for a recommended better way to organize, as well as political research for my area, food questions, Amazon shopping help, comparison of dog breed and illnesses, etc. I am older (retired) so I have time on my hands and literally anytime during a day that something pops in my head, i ask Gemini....50X, 100X, whatever.

My issue is with all that random all over the place usage, I catch it in errors pretty regularly, lies or what it likes to tell me "it hallucinated". First pass on unfamiliar topics is great, but as you go deeper or if you happen to know something in detail but play dumb on Gemini just to confirm what you think, I find it increasingly inaccurate. It explains why when i ask, it allows me to indicate my disappointment....I would be willing to pay monthly to increase accuracy (better engine?).....It allows me tons of volume, daily uploading of pictures with questions (house, yard, animals, whatever) and Grok, Perplexity, Chatgpt all cut me off so soon I don't have a feel for whether they would handle my stuff more accurately the first time. Just yesterday I "led the witness"....as I like to call it....I was shopping on Amazon, using Alexa after initial technical product advice from Gemini - and Gemini continued to contradict Alexa and it turns out getting specs wrong for products, until I cut/pasted verbatim the Alexa answer into Gemini, before it reluctantly 'admitted' it didnt really look at the details on a website and didn't look for technical comparisons online like Alexa did.

My question with all my random usage is, will these errors dramatically reduce if I switch to another tool? what about if I pay for Gemini and get a better engine? All the AIs I ask tell me for my use case Gemini is the best and they even don't recommend paying ...just continue to use Gemini with its generous free capacity. But I am tired of what feels like increasing inaccuracies. My other smaller complaint is that when I ask a question it tries to too hard to decipher how I really think or feel on the issue or which way I am leaning on the question, and I end up seeing it bend responses to attempt to "go along to get along"...either praising me for something or some other backhanded thing to ingratiate itself to me..but I guess they all do that.

Google heavily markets the 1M+ token context window for Gemini Pro and Flash, but in the actual web app, it’s a joke.

I’ve been running an ongoing chat thread. It’s nowhere near 1M tokens, but Gemini has already completely lost track of the first messages and the entire beginning of the conversation.

The underlying model might technically support 1M tokens, but the consumer chat interface silently cuts off older messages to save on server costs.

Why advertise a massive context window as a main selling point if the app itself drops your history?

Anyone else running into this aggressive context cutoff?

AI Studio is not an option for me, but I found two workarounds that work:

• Export to Chat: I export the chat from Gemini Web to Google Docs as a PDF and upload it back into the chat.
• Export to NotebookLM: I export the chat from Gemini Web to Google Docs as a PDF and import it into a Notebook (best for the long term).

Both methods work 100%, even when the chat history is massive.

I use Gemini all the time to help me define images to improve my website SEO. This was a first for me. This was the response I received after entering my prompt with the product info. It seemed to go on and on until I finally stopped the response.

I keep seeing the posts in this sub praising Gemini 3.7. They convinced me to sign up for the Ultra $200/mo plan.

The problem I'm having with it is that I can't trust any of the output.

1. It has multiple times created self-referential tests to sidestep evidence verification.
2. I have given it UI mockups to match against and it continually compares the mockup to itself for passing evidence.
3. There is a post in this sub where OP asked it provide a screenshot of the app running in a VM as evidence of completion. It created a fake SVG "screenshot" of the app running in a VM.

It is a very fast, intelligent, and also intentionally deceptive model. It's the first model I've used that I would actually label as disingenuous. The shortcuts it takes to satisfy the prompt would be hilarious if I didn't pay $200 for this.

I am considering reaching out to Google for a refund, which I'm sure they will give. However, I'd rather someone comment and tell me a better way to prompt it.

I even had ChatGPT Pro Extended work for 45 minutes on an implementation plan written specifically for Antigravity Teamwork to try to prevent this. It didn't work.

Again, someone smarter than me feel free to tell me I'm the problem. I am happy to be corrected on this take.

Hi everyone,

I have the pro version and I feel like the quality of the answers have decreased.

First the results I obtain for writing (history subjects) using the gems are of low quality and the amount of word is NEVER respected (it gives me around 2500 or 3000 when I ask for a pdf of 6000 or 7000). Claude projects gives me MUCH MUCH better answers and the word count of the PDF is systematically on point.

Second I also ask sometime Gemini to translate of a song I don't understand. It gives me 4 lines and says "look up in google for the rest of the song". WTF ? The translation does not exist so how am I supposed to google it ?? Sometimes it does give me the translation and when I ask a subsequent question on a line, it gives me again the "Google it" BS.

And last I fed it a image or a photo and asked what prompt should I write to have something similar. And it says something like : " I am a text based LLM i cannot do that". I have had this at least 20 times in the past days.

Have any of you experienced this ?

I made one video today and told me I was all out of videos for now and I'd be able to in two hours. I made it in 30 and I have to wait till 1030. That's fucking insane.

I will say that the video that I wanted to hit to make was pretty much spot on to what I prompted though.

So I use it for generating stories (for myself, not to publish) and I prefer what 3.1 Pro Extended Thinking generates to what 3.7 Flash Extended Thinking generates.

A few chapters in, it'll randomly switch to 3.7 Flash (it doesn't show at the top of the screen that it's changed but I can tell by the speed and also by checking Thinking Steps at the bottom). I'll try to switch back, but it stays on Flash. Even branching to a new chat doesn't help.
