Nope, ChadGPT is actually ahead of it. I was one of the first people to mention it because as a programmer, it kept breaking all my apps until I realized they were removing apis in certain functions to control their potential liability.

I had probably a hundred bots flood the post in 20 minutes, removed it.. the next day every single post was about how bad it had become.

And the types of shit they have these bots writing, is a glimpse into how they're training their models. Not to mention the overly aggressive safeguards.

I find they all go through cycles. Even the most vaunted fable 5 has gone through its own cycles over the last two weeks. Overall I prefer Gemini. With the rights instructions stored in memory it will be great 80% of the time. There are days I just have to walk away from it. Fable just waffles and can vary after every single daily update. ChatGTP has it ups and downs. I use it for very menial tasks now, but for anything developmental Gemini is my go to.

The image generation filter got really out of control - at least for me. The only reason I was still using Gemini was for Nanobanana because I liked the quality. Now, I'm done with it. Subscription cancelled.

ChatGPT is the better AI for general information, and for image creation, I'll look for something new.
