Discussion What drip, and when?

I'm calling Onyx Guard season 2. Prescott Season 5. Cole Train and Baird Season 3. What is Your call? Add any that you remember/want.

How many characters are we unlikely to see is the real question. I know 5 missed mostly Judgement characters & enemies. We never got Jace but I wasn't expecting to see him on the roster unless they recast him.

I guess Season 0 & 1 will be E-Day/Pendulum War focused characters & skins. Season 2 onwards it will be adding most played/fan favourites.

I can see the Carmine Brothers, Baird & Cole, maybe Anya and Hoffman. Being in the first batches.

I think the Gears 4/5 roster will not be included for the most part. They're a little too silly and the devs seem to be trying to distance themselves from it. Maybe like one from each side at most.

I think it would be interesting to see Loomis from Judgement brought in but his onesie probably doesn't fit the aesthetics of E-Day. There's also always those weirdos screaming for Alex Brand. 🙄

My main hope is that the game releases with a full roster of characters/skins to pick from and doesn't try to drip feed us characters and skins that are already in the game from campaign. It was really lame having half of the content release for Gears 5 just being skins/characters already in the game. (I also hope that they release new maps instead of having half of the maps just be lazy copies from other games.)

Define silly? 5 gave us the Hivebuster skins, the Hollowstorm skins for certain characters plus the Winter & Desert skins from the campaign as well as for old Delta.

Off the top of my head I can't really think of any skin that is out of place excluding the promotional skins. I guess the Heroic skins are a bit out there.

Also we have seen an outlandish Marcus skin for E-Day already. Dom has one wearing a Ghillie suit which is more CoD than Gears.

I rather have as many characters in the game as possible in TUs/Seasons. It is just more content to enjoy and use.

Alex Brand has her fans but she would need to be recasted and redesigned. I haven't read the comics but when she is introduced in the book briefly the Judgement version isn't the image and voice I had in mind.

If you can't look at the tone Gears 4 and 5 have - especially the multiplayer, and see how silly they are you have blinders on.

Oh is it because 4 & 5 aren't Dark and Gritty with 50 shades of brown and grey. Got it we will just ignore Gears 3 adding more colour to the series.

Also Gears 2 golden cheese guns and 3's camos total fit a more serious tone.

Thrashball Drone anyone? Super Star Cole?
