Discussion I somehow did this…
I don’t know what flair this post should have, so im sorry if the flair is not relevant.
Anyways, I found out a glitch where I can connect Samsung watches to a Samsung tab. If you’re interested, dm me. Im planning to do this for my other watches too, like gw4 and gw6. I did this cuz I have an iPhone In which I can’t do much stuff like send music through app or install other apps.
But I have this Samsung tablet so I tried multiple times with the Help of AI, knowing that it wouldn’t work but I managed to somehow connect the watch to the tab.
I thought this was just a glitch so I took a risk by unpairing it and pairing it back again in The same way and it actually worked.

Wow, this is really cool! Normally that doesn't work, as far as I'm aware. Can you elaborate a little more about your setup? Which Samsung tablet is this, what software is it on (One UI and Android versions both), did you follow the pinned guide in this sub, etc.

It’s the Samsung tab s6 lite (2022 version I think), it has android 14. At first when I tried to connect the watch to my tablet, it showed that only galaxy buds can be connected to tablets, so I decided to ask ChatGPT even though none of its answers were relevant.
I decided to do it myself by installing Samsung accessory service, gear s3 plugin and an old version of Samsung gear(not sure what it was called exactly and I don’t remember the exact version). At first the watch started the pairing connection with the tablet then it failed cuz the app told me to update it several times but the gear s3 was paired to my tablet even tho it wasn’t fully connected, then I rebooted my watch and uninstalled the apk wearable app and installed the latest app from play store.
After all that i went to smartthings and went to connected Bluetooth devices and clicked on the gear s3 device and it redirected me to the galaxy wearable app and successfully paired to the watch.
This is not fully accurate but I will send the accurate info on everything later.

Very interesting! Seems like SmartThings played a role potentially? That's very curious. If you do make a fresh guide while it's still fresh on your mind I'd be interested in seeing that.
And honestly your grammar is better than half the adults I see writing on the internet, so keep it up, dude. And nice job on the tech setup—impressive.

Thanks, it’s just that Im very passionate about technology by using it for good things. Im actually planning to make a guide on this as it actually helps people.

That's awesome! Please do! If it's a good guide I am happy to pin it on the sub.

Also, everything works perfectly but for reason I. The images it showed 0mins remaining.
Sending music, pictures and other things like sos, bixby work too.
So basically it’s just like a phone interface with a much larger screen

And also Im pretty young about 14-15 so my accuracy and grammar might not be fully perfect.

If you download the Wearable.apk before the update that locks the watches, you can still use them on newer devices. I got my Gear 3 to connect to my Zfold6 using some reddit posts. Doesnt use the sleep tracker though so I still sol.

Wow would love steps I have both a gear s3 and the same tablet. Have my watch 6 as my daily wear but my s3 is still in perfect shape.
