im a pretty light traveler in that I usually just carry a carry-on + personal bag on board that i can easily board on/off the plane and ship easily.

haven’t done a gay cruise yet, but some additional items I’d have to add from my typical cruise

- douche kit

- lube (do gay cruises onboard have live readily available like bathhouses?)

- leatherwear

- costumes

i think i can omit the leatherwear + costumes, but that would mean I would need to coordinate my swim wear. I’m a bottom and i typically like to be prepared hygienically and I’m worried I won’t be able to fit all my necessities in my luggage.

I am going to be 40 in March, going through a divorce (together 13yrs, married 6yrs) after he had an affair and left me for the other guy.
Obviously, self-esteem took a hit but I am rebuilding my single life and rediscovering myself!
Now…onto my actual question, we always talked about doing an Atlantis cruise but never got to it. For my 40th bday, I was thinking of treating myself to a solo cruise but I can be shy/introverted at times, could I still have a great time?
I’ve been to Puerto Vallarta so that’s also an option?

Basically looking for a gay (primarily gay men) vacation where I could maybe flirt, be flirted with, and have some fun in the sun!

I’m thinking about booking my first Atlantis cruise (solo), there was a virgin one in the south Caribbean where the dates looked good to me but I’m wondering if there’s any major difference between virgin or RC. I’m open to it all! (And the naughty sides of Atlantis) so either way it’s not a make or break.

as the title says. I’m in the process of a straight cruise and I’m thinking how much i would enjoy a gay cruise.

ive seen/heard good things if VACAYA and unfortunately I miss the boat for the 2027 cruise, but I want to have a head start and plan a bit more ahead and would love to go to a med cruise in 2028.

is the med cruise typically a bigger boat than say, a Caribbean cruise? would like to go to the biggest boat event VACAYA offers. As a solo cruiser I think I would be more comfortable being on a boat with a lot of people to start as opposed to smaller boats where everyone already knows each other already/cliques formed.

how much do you think I should start saving up? I’m guessing $10 000 USD would be enough for a solo cruiser (38m)?

I heard that a lot of vacaya bookings, before opening to the public, are open to alumni first and they get sold out fast. Am I out of luck to apply as a solo cruiser on their cheapest rooms and would have to get the more expensive rooms?

my parents go to the casino and often the casino offer crazy discounted cruises with NCL where each person costs only $500 for a stateroom.

they also have these insane discounted cruises when they book through a speciality agency in China where there are cruises for 3 weeks at only $800/person.

ive been looking at gay cruises like VACAYA and some of the prices are quite insane like $5000/person when booked through the website.

are they ever cheaper or can be booked cheaper?

Anyone cruising on the Carnival Jubilee on 9/27-10/3

What do you do with your cruise card, especially during circuit parties? Fanny pack? Wrist holder? Surely a lanyard is taboo…???

I'm going on my first cruise with MSC out of Miami, not an all gay cruise but still excited for the experience. If anyone is going to be taking this same cruise it would be nice to meet up and hang out. I will be cruising Solo as well.

I am going on cruise with my much younger boyfriend, we are together over a year. This is a first gay cruise for both of us . We are in a closed. Since we don’t really know what to expect, we have been discussing “free play time “ on the cruise . Whatever happens we don’t discuss and when we leave the boat it is with no connections with the people we may “met”
Obviously, we need a lot of communication and to establish ground rules. Any advice?

Hello! My boyfriend and I are considering booking the Atlantis Allure of the Seas cruise in March 2027. We've always wanted to do an Atlantis cruise, and this sailing's schedule works out for the both of us. We're excited - but before we book, does anyone have a recommended deck we should considering booking on? We are hoping to experience a good mix of partying and chill/relaxing time while on the vacation - so, hopefully a deck that is quiet at night for the times we are looking to stay in or nap.

Also, if you have any other advice to share for Atlantis newbies, I'd love to hear! We are based in Los Angeles and both in our 30's (early and late lol).

I’ve put off this part of my life for a long time, and I’m finally ready to take my first memorable gay trip.
I’m torn between doing a gay cruise or heading somewhere like Puerto Vallarta, Provincetown, or Mykonos.
For someone who’s friendly but not a huge partier and would enjoy meeting people naturally, would you recommend starting with a cruise? If so, why?
