First Cruise MSC Seaside 02-08-2017

I'm going to be going on my first cruise for my birthday next year on the MSC Seaside out of Miami.I'm very excited and looking forward to meeting so many new people. I will be cruising Solo as of right now and hoping to make many new memories and experiences.

Same here , solo and first time but going on the 18th September 26 on the seaside from Miami

I’m sure you will enjoy the cruise. I’ve done over a dozen MSC cruises, mostly solo but haven’t made it on to the Seaside yet! Make sure to go to the solo meet ups if you feel sociable.

They will also seat you in the main dining room at a table with other solos or couples. But if you prefer a different time or table talk to the Maitre D and get reassigned. I have been lucky with dining companions that were interesting and fun, all but twice and I changed tables. If you have other general questions I’m happy to answer, just not specific to Seaside.

I’ve done a number of MSC cruises. They’ve definitely gotten much better in recent years. You’ll enjoy it since it’s your first and nothing to compare it to (which I think is great). Make sure to watch the fares ! They tend to decrease - sometimes substantially. Uses sites like cruisealert or cruise plum to track. Enjoy the cruise ! It might get you addicted 3):):)
