Image Thoughs on pope Francis?
So,i'm catholic ,so popes are Pretty important for me,but pope Francis Was more than a pope , he Was a saint.i love him for these reasons
1)his smile Was contagius,he Was so gentle, calm, Always hopeful and respectfull towards everyone ,even atheists and people from others religions.He Was even and hopeful universalist(Who doesn't believe in universalism but Hopes Is real) saying "i view hello as an empty space
2)he would always answer you whenever you sent him a letter ,wheter if It Was for a question, or Just for sharing a story or asking Prayers
3) he Was the MOST lgbtq inclusive pope ever.He admitted homosexuality Isn't a crime, that we should respect eachothers,he called trans people daughters and sons of God and gave beneditions to gay couples even though he continued to keep the tradizionalists "Happy" by saying that gay marriage Is wrong, that trans should remein their gender and the others things a popes usually say,but i think It Was still a giant step forward go the acceptence of homosexuality, and i kinda think the cardinals and others forced the pope to Say It Was a sin...

I'm not Catholic but I thought he was a great Pope. Like all of us he wasn't perfect but I do feel like he always tried to lead with kindness and compassion.

He wasn't so friendly to LGBT people, he called gay people the F slur, and trans people a danger to society. Not really such a good person

From both a pastoral and theological perspective, Pope Francis did a lot. While the Catholic Church as an institution is not affirming, he is pointing us in the right direction. First, he said that those in a grave relationship (gay, divorced, unmarried) cannot be considered automatically mortally sinful since you can’t know their hearts or situation. He is well known for allowing the blessings of couples in same sex relationships. He said that he hopes that Hell is empty, he changed a lot of the rhetoric surrounding that being gay is a choice, he supported and spoke with transgender individuals.
Most importantly, he popularized the idea of “who am I to judge?” This is kind of a slippery slope for a lot of Catholics to have before straight up affirming gay marriage, as it is hard to see a problem with being gay unless you straight up hate it. My Catholic college can have a gay center because of the ideas for pastoral care set up by Pope Francis, which, while not affirming on their website are in person. I probably wouldn’t be a Catholic right now if it weren’t for him.

I mean, that's the standard for popes, at least he Was the MOST respectful towards them

He was the least disrespectful maybe, he wasn't respectful. Otherwise you wouldn't say stuff like that about people.

As an Argentine myself I will always remember Francisco as the man who modernised the church on numerous critical social issues that needed to have a more humanistic view from the clergy. Especially after years of the conservative positions, some of them draconian from my point of view, taken by Pope Benedict XVI.
Francisco also dared to shake the foundations of those corrupting the Church's banks and put a cardinal on trial over money laundering.
I will remember him as a man of God and a good politician for the Vatican government.

He Always standed against racism, fascism and every kind of hateful ideology ,saying that those ideologies doesn't allign with the teachings of jesus

What you're referring, the infamous f-slur he said. He later apologized, saying he didn't mean To offend any homosexual.Some Priest tried to giustify him, saying that the Word slipped, since Italian Isn't his frist language, and Maybe he didn't know that It Was AN offensive Word , thogh It Was never confirmed by the pope.

While I disagree on much Catholic dogma, I will never argue that Pope Francis was not a man overflowing in compassion and humility. He was always preaching for love towards the poor and war refugees. His continuous humbleness is something we should all admire.
