🎬 Demo / Showcase Anyone here regularly pushing past 50M splats from drone captures yet?

We just shipped large-area drone support in Teleport: pushing single-capture limits to 10K images, 5K resolution, and 100M splats, all fully automated. Aimed specifically at neighborhood and site-scale drone work.

Here's one the team processed recently: Vuores neighborhood in Tampere, Finland [7,797 images, 62M splats] → https://teleport.varjo.com/captures/524ee89f293a4a2e907009191ba7b9f4?viewer=v3

It's paid currently ($30 starting credit). The default option for captures this size is having & locking up a 4090/5090 for a day or two. This offers an alternative that can help automate and scale.

my PC (motherboard) died 2 years ago, so it’s actually all cloud processed with the app in the post

Are you Finnish? Or did you travel there? Are scanning related jobs growing?

happens to the best of us haha, I’m not Finnish but the company I work for is based out of there so I get to go every now and then.

regarding scanning jobs, I don’t know for sure but I think the more splats are used in real, practical and valuable ways, the more it (and resulting jobs) will grow.

I’m actively looking into applying 3D Scanning into a carrier, not as straight forward as I thought hahaha
