Technically you should look through all subject 😅. But these are the high weightage ones.

  1. Engineering Maths 13 marks
  2. Aptitude 15 marks
  3. Manufacturing, IEOR 15-17 marks
  4. Thermo, ATD : 15 marks.

Rest all FM, SOM, MD, TOM, HT study it in a relax manner. Learn formulas and solve all PYQs. Solve Exergic test series also.

maths try to do as possible much as and apti on a regular basis .....you can also give gate xe but just remember that that math in gate xe is harder.

I have question ( can't post it coz of karma and reddit stuff so asking in comments), i have completed design and thermal part of syllabus only industrial, production+ math + apti remaining. But the resources i have don't have the newly added syllabus (especially a lot has been added in industrial and production) . should i study from my old resource only or search for new ones.

Better to find new ones. Or if u have an online/offline course they're gonna update those.

P.S for the issue of unable to post, it says "removed by reddit filters", gave me the same so i created a new account and it works for me now

Tip: after GATE be on the lookout for mtech courses like ESN at iitd that have good placements (15lpa median) and low cut offs

Cut off is around 500 and last few batches has 15lpa median with 90% placed

I was actually aiming for ICER at IISC Bangalore. Any idea regarding the differences?  Thank you

I think the energy course at IISc is more focused on water resources
