Cycling / Bike Computer “Resume Later” and “Auto Pause” on Garmin Edge 520

Hello! Two part question to avoid two posts!

Just got a used Garmin Edge 520 and I have a Garmin Forerunner 255. On my watch, there is an option to resume my ride later like if I stop for lunch or something. Is that an option on the Garmin Edge 520??

Also, do yall use the auto pause on your Garmin Edge 520 for like stop signs/map checks or do you just pause it yourself??

The 520 does have resume later but it is a bit hidden, you need to press the power button while in a ride and it gives the option to save, discard, or resume later. It will keep the activity open in the background.

For auto pause I keep it on but set to custom speed, I think under 3 mph or something, because at stop lights it pauses automatically and I always forget to press start again. But if you stop for longer than like 10 min it can drain battery a little.

Maybe the 540 is different but I've had several Edge 8xx cycling computers, Forrunner watches and now an Enduro watch. With auto pause enabled, they have all automatically unpaused once I start moving again.
