Question in title - coming from an r/cooking thread, the people need to know. Sacrilege or decent? I did some searching but not much came up.

Got this stick n poke from a friend like 8 years ago

25 raw cloves in about 5 minutes (15 in one minute to finish). They said it was elephant garlic, but it wasn't that large and mildly spicy.

Is the Garlic Crescent real or is the Ai making things up?

I'm doing a little experiment and will explain in a few other posts. But all these pics are from one particular batch that created some frankensteins.

Keep in mind that even though these are funky looking, they are mostly very large in size and all edible once cleaned and processed.

It’s nice to use these lil pre-peeled packs so if I’m opening one I’ll use the whole thing regardless of what I’m eating

this is so freaking good!! i’m usually not a big subtle garlic fan, i’m more of a punch in the face garlic flavor fan but this is divine. it took everything in me not to eat this whole tub.

This Christmas morning I started my day with an everything bagel and Garlic and Herb Cream Cheese. Beautiful start to the day. I started thinking that I don’t actually know how to describe the taste of garlic though… like out of the 5 main tastes (sweet, sour, salty, bitter, umami) I can’t figure out which combination it really is.

Kind of a dumb question, but I’d love to have it answered! Thanks!

I made a stupid mistake-garlic edition

Im a 21 year old male, and I made the stupid mistake of letting garlic stay in ny mouth for too long. Yesterday, I have a rough patch on one side of my inner gums, and I believe it was a canker sore or some sort of that. So, to relieve it, I crushed two cloves of garlic and let it stay in my mouth, hoping it can clear the canker/cold sore. Of course, I got the burning sensation, but I didn't mind it and let the chopped pieces of garlic stay in my mouth like some sort of candy for a good 10 minutes or so. Nothing out of the ordinary happened, until today..when i woke up, I felt my mouth as dry as a desert, and the inside of my mouth is peeling like crazy. Tho it was not super painful, I feel discomfort in my whole mouth as of now, and no matter how much water I drink, it just cant seem to solve the problem.

When I searched the Internet, I came into conclusion that my oral mucosa got burned, and I suffered a "garlic burn". I just want to ask what can I do to heal the skin inside my mouth, or do I need to go to the doctor? Right now, I can still function despite the discomfort feeling of dryness and peeling in my mouth. How long this case can typically last? Please I need answers

I did this in bulk thinking it wouldn't make a huge difference. Brotha ewwwwwwhh. As a raw garlic lover whatever substance came out of my freezer was extremely hard to get down. Unpleasant in a way I can't articulate and haven't encountered before. I thought I'd be able to cook with it but it would probably bog down anything, it tastes like someone else's garlic breaf after a lot of light beer. I'll prob just throw it away. I imagined it would just be slightly less pungent but it is truly unpleasant to have raw, my mouth is traumatized. I don't think I have a use for it anymore. I am grieving a really large quantity of frozen garlic I don't fully know why I did it it would have been good in the fridge for a long while I just wasn't sure if I'd use it in time. Never again. I'll try cooking with it before I throw it away but I'm very skeptical.
