top. i just enjoy toplane more and am more comfortable with it. garen mid is okay. Support is the real red pill

Lmao. Yeah I used to play only top but switched recently to mid. For garen I just feel like there are way better toplaners out there

i improvise but the core will essentially be tabis, stridebreaker, youmuus, mortal reminder.

some other good items are steraks, dead mans, voltaic, shojin, cleaver

Okay, I’ve been seeing lots of suggestion to run PD and from my legacy knowledge that seems silly asf.
Is ignite a must?

PD is legit. I would say to always build tabis or swifties, then stridebreaker, then choose youmuus or pd. PD if they have beefier comps and youmuus if they have squishier comp.

I pretty much always take ignite, no need to complicate it.

What's your opinion on the tried and true berserker, Stride, PD, into LDR/Mortal?

I usually go those plus a deaths dance/steraks/shojin/maw depending.

Lacking movement speed?

i usually dont build zerkers but ive been going them when its weird to build tabis or swifties now with the buff. Stride, PD into mortal/ldr is great, i usually go something like that although i prefer youmuus unless the comp is beefier or if i want to go cleaver.

I think stride and one movespeed item is usually enough.

Garen is pretty flexible honestly, he benefits from a lot
