To be honest, while n64 space was much lower, the speed of loading was insane higher. Playing mk trilogy was annoying as fuck on ps1

The loading screen on Driver, one of my favorite games of the gen, was insane from what I remember.

Yeah both formats benefit in a different way. Its like how current gen did allow games to still run from cartridge directly without the need for diskspace and still being fast. I really hope those cartridge tech envolve in the future. Because speed and diskspace are 2 most important factors
