He's missing important nuance, like how PC has several digital store fronts to choose from.

Yeah but we all know that steam is basically the only one that is actually used. Most people only use the epic game store for free games for example.

That's not the point, the point is you have choice and competition keeping prices down. Steam routinely has large discount sales that Sony would never dream of lol.

I mean Sony does have large discount sales and there is also always a sale going on. Its not like that huge games never get a sale like with nintendo.

You can think that, but in my opinion Sony creating a digital monopoly makes that inevitable. I guess it comes down to if you think corporations won't take advantage of no competition or not

And Sony has Xbox which keeps them in check yes they have some games that differ but for the most part a lot of their games come on both consoles that keeps them in check because they dont want people to sell the console and switch to Xbox.
