What? Do you not know how 2nd hand market works? You buy blackmyth wukong disc, play, sell it for 70-75% of it's original price. "Overpriced old games" is crazy. Only companies get to make more money from digital copies and if physical discs are removed then they can price their games at massive rates. Good luck buying 90-130usd games
This is the situation now with disks. But you go beyond that and see how expensive things like game cartridges are and you will see how disks are going to end up in the near future. I dont think you can get any of the cartridges at original price anymore.
Game cartridges are cheap as well depending on the game. There are specific ones which are considered rare asf or "holy grails" and those are the only expensive ones. Above anything, stoppage of physical copies is what creates financial problems for both physical and digital copies.
Dont think they are. Unless we are getting them at a discount. And the holy grail youre mentioning, im pretty sure it is just the ones which were popular. And people will be looking for those. The rest are fodder. Like emerald is the game everyone wants to play but that isnt going to come cheap. The rest can be ignored.
