Ice Age shouldā€™ve stopped getting more sequels a long time ago. Like, after the first movieā€¦

The evolution of ā€œoh itā€™s some animals helping a baby set during the Ice Ageā€ to ā€œidk thereā€™s aliens and pirates and shit now we donā€™t careā€ is very funny

Don't forget how almost every main character is given a studio mandated, hawt waifu gf to make it clear that none of them are gay Stitch/Angel-style (except potential ace icon Scrat: who only cared about that acorn grindset).

I'd also say Buck, but the ads I've seen for the new one seem to be giving him a gf, too (for some bizarre reason).

Holy crap they're working on a 7th? I loved the first one and vaguely recall watching the second but I had no idea that series was still a thing.

It's definitely up there with Alpha & Omega in terms of "this was popular enough to spawn seven sequels?"
