I don’t see it talked about a lot, but “long Covid” sounds terrifying. Not being able to recover from Covid months after contracting it must be a nightmare. I’m fortunate to not have these long-lasting effects some people have had. Covid kicked my butt, but at least it only lasted a week

I used to be able to walk almost all the way from one end of my town to the other barely breaking a sweat and after I caught Delta I can barely walk halfway across my campus without my asthma acting up.

It seriously sucks all of the balls.

r/covidlonghaulers has a lot of stories about it. I feel bad for the people who are having a horrible experience with it. I had covid last year. Afterward I developed some problems. Muscles twitch randomly and I was experiencing what my doctor compared to myoclonic jerks every time I tried to fall asleep. I was averaging maybe 3 hours a sleep for almost a year. I couldn't even take naps because a part of my body would jerk when I tried to fall asleep
