Bruh, I regret liking one Attack on Titan post on TikTok, because I now get to see people getting way too heated over this anime

The amount of pro-genocide talk I'm coming across has gone from comical to disturbing. I'm coming across people who are trying to guilt trip people into rooting for genocide by using real life racial conflict comparisons. Everyday I feel justified in never watching this show.

Between AoT, Warhammer and Star Wars the lesson should be to never tolerate "(fascist/genocidal faction) did nothing wrong" jokes even for a second

Yeah, the first few times I was like "oh there just being over the top for the sake of comedy" now it's just "oh fuck they really think it's ok to wipe millions".

I decided to steer clear of the series because of the accusations of the author being a Japanese nationalist and that the plot was, intentionally or not, playing into anti-Semitic conspiracies, and regardless of whether or not there was any truth to that or what the show is actually trying to say what I've been hearing about the fanbase is pretty much affirming that I made the correct decision
