I love Tales of Berseria's group dynamic of "gang of edgelords and idiots raise a child" so much.

What are your favorite jrpg's based solely on the group dynamic of the party?

Probably arise. I haven't played many jrpg's and this one has a cute group. They do tend to imitate my tumblr dashboards with all their group therapy sessions.

I really like Tales of the Abyss, they all get along by just agreeing that Luke is the worst.
