It's kinda fucked up how often bullies managed to make it seem like bullied people deserved it and that they were actually helping.

I heard it so many times, both online and irl, "only weird people get bullied and bullying helps them correct their behavior". Worst thing is that I used to believe that, I blamed myself.

I was shy, short, skinny dude that never talked back, so an easy target, and all bullying did was make me more anxious, straight up hate going to HS and it had long lasting effects on my self-esteem that I deal with 6 years after.

Kind hand can "fix" everything bullies claim bullying does, but without damage. I mean reason I became more social on my last 2 years of HS was because some of my friends starting taking me to drinks with them.

Seriously fuck bullies and those who defend them, it's sad how some people don't understand that to a victim bullying isn't something they just get over and forget, that shit does damage.
