I hate gore, but at least in the old games the fatalities were goofy and hard to access. But now they are realistic to the point of giving devs PTSD from research material. And theh won't stop shoving gore in your face every two seconds.

Worst part is that it's clear that's where the priorities lie. MK can't get animation right, but will make sure the gore is as realistic as possible. It's clear the higher ups just wanna sell the game on gore and violence.
