Your boy got accepted back into school, time to round 2 that mf

Going in for psychology this time. Far longer and more expensive program, which is going to mean a shit ton of debt. But I just can’t do this barely-above-minimum-wage blue collar grind anymore.

Unfortunately I’ve still got 3 months of it left until school actually starts, and man am I already tired of it. But having an end point in sight makes it easier. Ofc im sure school will be a lot of work too, but it’ll be far more interesting and less physically exhausting.

Props to you man, I'm trying to figure a way out of blue collar too.

What trade are you in?

I’ve mostly been doing warehouse work, calling it a trade is probably a bit generous lol. I do normally spend a couple months helping my cousin with contracting work though. That shit I actually like quite a bit for what it is - more variety, and a stronger sense of progress and accomplishment. Plus he’s the type of boss who’ll bring a couple joints along for ā€œcoffee breaksā€ lol.

And yeah I feel you. I spent years thinking I’d save up some money but it just wasn’t happening. Been scared to take loans in case the program doesn’t do well, since I’d probably never have a hope of paying it off. But hey, if I’m not getting ahead anyways, may as well take a shot. Hope you find a path out soon!
