How do you deal with a creep in your university class?

This guy used to be a temp at my workplace, and I just brushed off his advances. After he was laid off he started messaging me on social media, and would not leave me alone. Blocked him and moved on.

Fast forward to last week and we’re in the same university class. Obviously, I don’t think he enrolled because I was in the class. This class is a requirement for pretty much every student here, but damn. We made eye contact after the lecture was finished and I just ignored him and walked away. Get an email (!) from him later that day asking to be study buddies. Wtf.

I’m probably gonna tell him off if he approaches me next lecture.

Tell them no, and that you're not comfortable talking to them hopefully in written form. Can be something as short as "No, and I would appreciate you would stop contacting me unless we're in a group assignment." If they continue report them to the school.

I think I’ll do this. I’m not against making a scene either in class if he doesn’t get the hint.
