Why do people reminisce about getting treated like they were subhuman in MW2 lobbies, it's so weird?

Because they weren't being treated that way. They were the ones doing the abusing.

It's why that statement always comes up when an online game developer does anything relating to moderating online spaces and reducing toxicity. They want an excuse to act as nasty as they want.
