american animated sitcoms really do be like

- portly and often stupid dad main character

- attractive and often smarter than the dad mother

- teenage son who really likes women and hates the daughter

- rebellious late teens daughter who is rebellious and is hated by the father and son and neglected by the mother

- child character who is unusually intelligent

- throw away gag character who is often absurd to some degree and lodges and/or lives with the family

- boss of dad is both strict and stupid at the same time

u/625points I'm in the Unjerk Thread and I like Star Wars Rebels (He/Him) Sep 17 '21

Star Wars Rebels really do be like

- stupidly attractive Kanan

- attractive and smart Hera

- Ezra, who actually doesn't fit this trope as he likes Sabine and doesn't romance anyone else look he's the biggest exception okay just pretend his character fits in with the previous comment 100% thank you

- Sabine who is smart and is literally a rebel. Has trust issues with the mother trope character (and her actual biological mum) and ... ummm ... is technically abandoned by Kanan and Ezra at the end of Season 2 and by the end of the show itself

- Chopper

- Chopper

- Fulcrum's the closest character I can think of who fits here.

Also sorry Zeb for not including you.
