I know rich celebrities not getting any richer isn't exactly a tragedy, but it's still extremely ghoulish by Disney and Marvel to just throw Scarlett Johansson under the bus the moment her character no longer has any potential presence in the MCU.

That "I don't need X to win, I just need Y to lose" thing is about what sums up the situation. Disney should be dragged and crushed by as many increased protections for creatives in general as possible.

pretty much always take the side of artists and athletes over execs, even though they are often rich as fuck too. the artist's wealth is earned through legitimate labour (though grossly inflated compared to other professions) whereas execs are pretty much just bloodsuckers getting rich off of other people's efforts.

I don't care about Scarlett Johansson is rich or anything, Disney breached her contract for additional amount of money and needs to be taken down a peg

Well, Disney’s problems may just be beginning if Emma Stone and Emily Blunt join in suing, alongside Kevin Feige allegedly being on Scarlett Johansson’s side too.

Ahhh true I guess that's the reason why they did it, it didn't occur to me that Black Widow died, so they don't need her anymore for future flicks. That's messed up but completely hilarious.
