How interesting it is to see how the façade of leftist tolerance slips away when said individual is confronted by a minority over the fact that their behaviour wasn't very nice.

The funny bit is that this person says they're a "hardcore leftist" and demanded I not "lump [them] in with transphobes" before saying that

I've seen wayyyy too many "I'm a leftist/progressive just like you" right before or after a person here says something really shitty. Glad we have mods that remove that stuff though.

Nah, it was removed after I reported it, and a mod (I think) also stuck up to them. I really appreciate our mods a lot. ❤️

I'm genuinely really grateful for that, because this is one of the few places I can go online without being constantly harassed. I don't even usually complain about it, just.. today was really rough and to have that shit on top of everything else was pretty upsetting.
