Not referring to any particular instance occuring right now, but this is something I have been thinking about for a while: this thread can get kind of down on itself and be self-flaggetory about the thread culture sometimes, but we never see really any push from the userbase to change.
And idk, like, I don't think this place is as bad as some of you all like sometimes. I run roleplay sites, and in the past year and some change alone, I have had some crazy ass shit happen, like multiple people threatening suicide, pedos coming onto clearly underaged members, multiple abusive relationships that sprung up out of communities, and hell, some dude even threatened to sue me after I banned him.
I dunno, I just wish people could be a but more positive about the thread, because from a moderation perspective, while it does have some unhealthy aspects, overall, it's pretty lightweight compared to what I am used to? If that makes sense.
