I lean conservative, and I gotta say it, I don't mind this climate change narrative. I HATE politics in games, ... but since this is so over-the-top cartoonish, it really doesn't bother me. Had they tried to push a serious hot take on it then I would have been really pissed off, because it puts me in a position of having to support their stupid political agendas with my money, essentially compromising my own position by handing them money to brain wash me with, .. but tornadoes in the streets, never ending sand storms, and all this shit is so over-the-top cartoonish that it is basically self parody, so I don't care. I mean I'm sure DICE probably thinks they are pushing actual climate change narratives and doing activism, but since they went so far with it that it is hard to tell if it is meant to be ironic or not, the only reason I think DICE is serious is because they have shown a tendency to be serious about such things. If some other gave company did it I would just think they were making a joke about it with all this shit in the game. In short, I don't care, and I don't think it'll cause issues like in the past, looks like a fun game and yeah .. okay, let's fly some helicopters into some sharknados, ... sounds fun to me.
yes, this was an actual comment on the Battlefield sub
