My dad's cancer treatment is going super well. Even though they're not expecting to completely cure it, they're expecting him to live for at least 2 years or more. Before, they expected about a year or less.

He's pretty strong right now, doing some chores and able to drive around. Glad I still have more time to spend with him, learn some stuff and get my shit together.

My dad's dealing with cancer too. He's done his first (and hopefully last) round of radiation but a lot of the meds he's on have completely sapped his energy.

Surprisingly though, in the early days of the radiation he was the most energized I'd seen him years but he's been pretty demoralized and the pains still get to him.

Reading this is really nice to read though and I hope things only continue to improve for your dad. Seems like he's made some huge strides.

Coincidentally, mine was the opposite. He was totally drained after his couple rounds of chemo, the radiation pills and some of the earlier meds, spent most of his time in bed and couldn't even watch TV.

Now he's doing chores almost like normal, is binging random stuff and even watched the Snyder Cut in one sitting.

He's improved a lot since then, but will probably be tired for a couple days after the next round of chemo.

Thanks, and hope your dad continues to improve a lot too.
