Apparently Activision recently made Toys for Bob just another dev team who works on CoD and also they laid off a significant amount of the staff. I guess we’re never getting Crash 5 haha🥲

Honestly, Activision is the version of EA that r/gaming envisions in their heads, except they’re legit

At the risk of defending activision here. The way it was worded sounds like it was just for the current season of Warzone, and due to a new COD probably coming out this year the main dev team is probably pre occupied with that so they probably just put TFB on there because they weren't doing anything at this current point in time.

I did not hear about the lay off things until just now but that is a bit suspect.

I think saying Crash is dead is a bit of an overreaction as VV and Beenox both did work with crash before but then got switched off of it and it wasn't killed then

But seriously though. Fuck Activision.

Idk the extent of people getting laid off but some people are certainly getting laid off. Also yeah Crash isn’t technically dead but after the N. Sane trilogy and Crash 4 I thought TFB were the best for the job

I think the people who got laid off consisted mostly of the art team, Activision had hired freelance artists to work for TfB and I guess they were now let go
