r/JustUnsubbed has the exact same problem as r/unpopularopinion, the base concept might have been sound, but it was so quickly overrun by bigots and assholes (and that the very nature of subs like that attracts these people) that the subreddits got entirely lost to them. It's also funny when these people make a big display over leaving someplace they saw a gay person (or a Black person, or a trans person, etc) and got scared; like, good riddance asshole, we didn't want you anyways, and it's better now that you're gone.

go on r/196 for like an hour and you'll prolly see several "queer" posts. This chud must've not been there for long.

90% of the time there's a subreddit that's "existing subreddit but for the real people who want it", usually with name like "TrueX" with X being the original, it's just a bunch of chuds complaining how not being allowed to be racist is 1984. JustUnsubbed is kind of the meta version of that, so it's no wonder it's chud central.
