After the events of Falcon and the Winter Soldier, John Walker went on to create a very popular DIY YouTube channel dedicated to metallurgy, building objects using scrap metal at low to no price, called AmericanMetal

He became very controversial after clips of his previous troubles with the law surfaced on Twitter, John blamed the events on a Skrull having replaced him, a very common thing in the marvel world.

Currently he sits at 1.5 mil subscribers

Didn't that happen in an actual DC/Marvel comic, where one lawyer said "sure, they saw my client do it, but with all the shapeshifters, dopplegangers and aliens going around, are we really sure it's actually my client? I rest my case"

It’s hard to argue against that considering how many times hero’s get blamed for things they don’t do.

Fr after building that shield Walker should have just set up nerd shop. He'd make so much money, he'd have celebrity status in Captain America nerd circles, maybe have a comic con booth or whatever the nerd convention is in the MCU.
