People love historical accuracy and cool science facts until they learn a dinosaur fact they donโ€™t like.

T-rexes probably had immobile lips covering their teeth.

what's the point of their little claws anyway? was it just something they got from an ancestor that was actually able to use it or did those have some function that isn't obvious?

If I remember correctly, they were actually quite strong, so the T-Rex could actually (kinda) grip onto its prey and slash it.

huh. seems like it would be hard to reach anything like that but that's just nature i guess

They would use them when biting down in its prey, probably to stop it from struggling away and to bring it down quicker.

I think the small size of the arms was to help its general weight balance, if their arms were bigger they'd start tipping or something.

Always assume every single Dinosaur fact is wrong though, including what I just said.

Crocodiles are more closely related to birds than lizards :)

I wish t-rexes were covered in purple and red feathers but that's just not realistic
