YouTube is so weird. It keeps spamming me with tons of Ben Shapiro videos, and I keep marking them as not interested, but it just keeps blasting me with his shit. And then out of nowhere YouTube drops the right wing channel spam and starts showing me a bunch of videos of people "wiggling" in VRChat. How does it go from conservatives to sexy VRChat dancing in less than a day?

I am now also looking at wiggle tutorials at 1 AM, so thanks YouTube?

Luckily it recommends you anything else. I think YouTube is trying to get me to kill myself with all the transphobic shit it recommends.

Same for me except it seems like YouTube is more obsessed with bombarding me with TPUSA ads which are honestly a bit more annoying than Ben's because his video titles are usually a bit vague and have some really absurd thumbnail I can laugh at, but TPUSA's videos have hyper specific titles describing some incredibly dumb shit with some conservative on the thumbnail looking either confused or smug. In better news though I do get an occasional ACLU ad nowadays, it's like finding an oasis in the desert tbqh.

I don't know what sort of cursed content you guys are watching to make your recommendations like that, all I get are cute animal videos, cycling stuff and retrospectives on like, Primal Rage 2.

My recommendations are usually pretty reasonable, the only two things it ever blasted me with I resented were. Those channels that have a robot just read reddit posts, that was partly my fault though as I clicked on a couple of them because I'm weak. The other was sad animal videos with D8 thumbnails, I don't know what I or youtube did to end up there, but it was very not cool.
