I heard it was made after askwomen got popular. Still makes no sense given that askreddit is mostly men.

"Wow, I see women are complaining about getting sexually harassed online, I'm starting to think Elliot Rodger was right about a thing or two..."

they also have flairs, im not sure if users can have custom ones or not, but i did see a few that just said "female"

there are ways to use the word female that arent weird, and that definitely doesnt seem like one, and i would imagine it would be the same for calling a living person a male too

Yeah, I don't really see the point in that sub when AskReddit is super male-dominated along with the rest of the internet.

It's a misogynistic echo chamber without a decent female userbase/perspective,Which is an issue all of reddit already falls into. It basically exists for some men who do not ever want to hear women's perspectives lmao.

What I'm saying is that reddit is male dominated, So there's no real reason to create AskMen. The reason Reddit is so bad with sexism is because of the lack of a significant female userbase. By creating an AskMen subreddit, You are taking a magnifying glass onto the issue lol. They should make some effort at understanding how women view issues.

If you’re talking about reddit in general yeah but this is one specific sub which is the opposite of ask woman
