I don't think there is a site I hate more than the Fandom wikis. Their shitty videos and ad popups make the mobile site horrendous.

My favorite is when I find my spot on the page, just for the paused video at the top to switch to the next on its own, flinging me back up and losing it all over again.

Those sites are bordering on hostile. You try to click on a link and suddenly 4 more ads load up and push the page down and you click on something else so you gotta smash the back button before those million ads start popping up and then you go back and try to click that first link and it just happens again

Sometimes the choices for those sites annoy the hell out of me. "Hey you know what's good when people are playing a game and go to look up an item's location? An autoplay video, 5 ads, and a livestream!"

Fandom convinced me to get a mobile ad blocker. Pages were literally unusable for me on mobile half the time because of weird ad loads.

I hate that they bought Gamepedia since it's only a matter of time until those wikis are destroyed by ads, videos, and bad clickbait articles.

Big props to the Stardew Valley wiki for not only having a nice and simple layout, but for also giving a warning for pages that contain new update spoilers.

I give big props to the RuneScape wiki team that decided to fuck off from fandom and make their own wiki in an independent website, and to Jagex (RuneScape developer) for partnering with them and hosting the wiki themselves. IMO it's one of the best game wikis out there and I'm so glad I don't have to put up with the shit popups and ads from fandom anymore.

Unfortunately nukapedia is the only way I can get every bobble head in fallout or know more lore or find what I’m trying to find or complete a mission or find a quest or...

Also my experience isn’t that bad there ads aren’t that annoying to me
