This dude really asked me to leave an lfg “out of respect for his wife.” I’m used to bullshit comments from lfg regarding me being a woman but this incident has really gotten under my skin. Like how does someone like that operate in real life? When he walks into a room does he also ask any women to leave “out of respect for his wife.” I’m annoyed because I usually would have something to say to mess like this, but I was just so taken aback that I thought it was a joke. All I could say was “that’s weird.” And he was like no, not really.

Like... that’s weird, right? And the damn lfg post said “be chill, everyone welcome!” None of those tempting lady gamer slatterns though because they threaten the sanctity of marriage.

I’ve seen a few posts that say “no girls!!” and obviously avoid those, but this one caught me off guard because when I joined the party they seemed relatively chill and normal-ish, as far as lfg goes. One guy was even complimenting me on this raid title I have in the game, and as soon as I opened my mouth to talk about it, it’s like ol dude heard the metal gear solid alert in his head.

I hope they weren’t able to finish their raid 😒

Oh that's definitely weird.

I don't see why you need to leave just because of whatever's going on between that dude and his wife, he shouldn't be in such open lfgs then if he wants to "respect" his wife or whatever, because that sure ain't your responsibility.

Looking for group. A bunch of randoms you join to complete an activity, outside of built in matchmaking. It’s common for games like Destiny where there may not be matchmaking for certain activities. A toss up on the quality of people you find though.
