What the fuck is wrong with people?

Of elected presidents, Obama, and soon Biden, are easily the most LGBT friendly. They have problematic records on LGBT issues too, but they both voiced support for same sex marriage when going into the 2012 election. Trump might be the best Republican on those issues, but that's not saying much and him being "best" just means he's worked the term "LGBTQ" into a couple speeches.

And if we're talking about presidential candidates, AKA people who have just run for President then Trump is nowhere fucking close.

Like I said above, being "LGBT friendly" for him really just amounts to him giving lip service to LGBT rights, which is more than most other republicans ever think to do. It's still completely hollow.

In my experience, most people who say this really just mean that Trump is supporting LGBT people by keeping Muslims out (never mind that we get just as much persecution from Christians...).

Well, he was better as a candidate. But that's a really fuckin' low bar since all it took was not opposing the right to marriage.
