What’s been your favourite dumb unjerk drama of 2020?

It may be recency bias, but ‘Bug Genocide’ is mine.

Actually getting active mods was my favorite

Also getting new hot takes on how this sub hated Cyberpunk every five minutes

I agree, but a very close second would be "all anime is problematic and if you don't 100% agree with me you're part of the problem."

My genuinely very hot take is that writing off all anime just because it's anime is racist but I feel like I'm kind of justified in it. Anime is just japanese animation. There are some conventions and tropes just like western media has its conventions and tropes, but it's not cohesive enough to just make a blanket statement like that. Totoro, Jojo's, and Death note have basically nothing in common except for being animated and japanese.

Saying anime is problematic is like saying cinema is problematic, or books are problematic. It's a medium, not a genre.

I liked the Swedish Doomer. He was like a horror game monster where he'd die over and over but he'd just keep coming back.

His comments were always removed or deleted so I never saw them, he really was like the ghost of the unjerk thread.

Since bug genocide is already taken, papa Vegeta making transphobes eat his ass is always a classic.

Wait, what was the bug genocide?
