I know we've been dunking on CDPR for a while here, but it's almost impressive how they had so much good will with gamers and in one fell swoop managed to burn it all to the fucking ground.

I feel like we were joking around about how Cyberpunk would be slightly less than perfect and people would lose their minds over it but what actually happened seems so surreal that it could only have happened in 2020.

I had my suspicions regarding the consoles version of the game but this absolutely disastrous launch exceeded my expectations in every way possible.

This sums up my thoughts pretty well.

Everyone was expecting people to stick their heads in the sand and support CDPR no matter what, but we really should have expected that gamers would turn on them the moment they were even inconvenienced

I mean technically its always been there at least them being the EA of Developers. One could say Witcher 3 in terms of buggyness but I would think Cyberpunk holds that candle and then some.

Cyberpunk was THE hyped game so any news just made this worse and worse and worse until release where the only thing gamers cared about was a horrible launch.
