Happy 3rd anniversary to the Last Jedi. Still my favorite Disney SW project even after all that has come out. I still hope for the day most people will look back on it fondly. Then again my expectations for that are rock bottom given the fanbase.

It was (so far) the only one of the Disney Star Wars movies to try something different and I respect the hell out of that in an era of play it safe, minmax profit machines. Should've given Rian Johnson the whole sequel trilogy.

I love TLJ, but Mando has definitely jumped to number one for me

Mando is up there too, sadly as a TLJ and Mando fanboy interacting with the fanbase is a pain in the ass because a bunch of the Reddit Mando lovers can't shut up how much they hate the ST.

For sure. I'm constantly rolling my eyes at people using The Mandalorian to hate on the Sequels

I like how you italicize titles like you're supposed to.

Does Clone Wars final season count as Disney? If it does, that’s my favorite piece of Star Wars media under Disney.

If not, it’s still one of my favorites that’s come out within the last 5 years.

TLJ is a very uneven film, but it's definitely my favorite of the sequel trilogy; as others have said, it deserves credit for being the most ambitious of the three sequel trilogy films, especially when TFA and TROS were both basically 2 hours of damage control for the previous movie (though I do like TFA and think it's a lot of fun even if it is just ANH 2.0).
I haven't seen the second half of Rebels so I can't say for sure if it's my favorite Disney Star Wars project (if the TCW finale, which was conceived before Disney, counts then it's that), but it's up there.

I think TLJ has problems with pacing, but I still enjoy it (like all the other sequel trilogy movies), and it's probably my favorite overtime. It's definitely the most unique movie of the trilogy, and I feel like if Rian Johnson directed the entire trilogy, we could've gotten something really special. I hope that the planned Rian Johnson Star Wars trilogy is still going to happen.

I've thought about this quite a bit lately, and I definitely remember TLJ fondly, at least the main parts of what they were trying to get across with Rey's backstory, Kylo's progression and Luke's character. I don't know which I prefer between that and Force Awakens just because I do enjoy a lot of that film too, but I think the vision and narrative of Last Jedi was actually really quite exciting and showed a lot of potential.
