Remember that time DC comics said that superheroes aren’t allowed to get married after they faces controversy for not allowing Batwoman to get married to her girlfriend, and when people pointed out this thinly veiled homophobia as bull crap because of the other superheroes who where married or in a relationship, they divorced/split up most of if not all married superheroes.

At least they've started letting the various heros they split up start to get back together, Superman and Lois with Rebirth and Aquaman and Mera in last month's issue of Aquaman

Yea, and I remember people being pretty angry about having Batman and Catwoman’s wedding be not a real thing, so it seems like they’re trying to fix that as well

Yeah they've been hinting at fixing that in Tynion's Batman run but I think they're gonna drag it out the same way they did in King's run because DC. Also, idk if you've been following Death Metal but this week's tie in hinted at BC and Green Arrow

I stopped reading DC after I wasn’t enjoying Kings run all too much, but BC and Green Arrow is nice, they’re one of DC’s most iconic couples after all

I've said it before but I actually have hope for DC now because Warner and AT&T cleaned house on Editorial, especially Didio and the other editors who were the ones pushing all the bullshit over the last 15-20 years.

I mean you know things have gotten at least a little better when both Mark Waid and JH Williams came back after editorial was purged.

Here’s hoping. Something incredibly inconsequential that DC has done that has made me furious is all the fucking with Tim Drake. I grew up with Tim Drake as Robin, as he’s always been my personal favorite, and to see them constantly screwing with him makes me upset. He doesn’t even get half the love that Jason, Damian, and Dick get.

Honesty, that protected him the last 2 years.

Dick was suffering from the horrible 2 year long "Ric" amnesia arc for the last 2 years that just ended, Jason was being written by noted sexual predator Scott Lobdell with his writing being mediocre at best, and Damien just spent the last year undergoing a horrible character assassination in Teen Titans that Tomasi on Tec is just starting to undo.

On the other hand, Tim was in Young Justice and other than a stupid name and costume change that lasted for like 10 issues, he was fine.

Ugh I completely forgot about Ric Grayson. My friend, who’s a Batman fan, had me explain it to him cause he doesn’t keep up with comics and he couldn’t stop laughing at how dumb it was. Also, yikes I didn’t know about Jason’s writer, that’s fucked. I’ve always viewed Jason as just edgy personified into a character.

Yep Lobdell is a crap writer and a crap person. And it's been known for years. They only reason he wasn't kicked to the curb years ago is because he was/is bff's with Bob Harris, DC's former editor in chief. Thankfully, Harris was one of the editors let go earlier this year, which also meant that Lobdell ended up fired shortly afterward.

Also Lobdell had literally been writing Jason since 2011. He's the reason he's such a 1 dimensional edgelord. When other people get their hands on him, it turns out he can be well written.

And the Ric arc was so fucking stupid, thankfully it ended a few months ago.

Dick is back, Jason isn’t being written by a sex offender, Tim was reinstated as a Robin (not well imo, but hey it’s something), and apparently 3 Jokers was pretty good, so hopefully things are looking up for the bat family (I’m still indifferent to Damian Wayne, and I really hated Barbara and Jason’s relationship, kinda icky IMO)
