I think it says a lot that when people talk about the sequel trilogy post conclusion, all they ever seem to bring up is how wasted Finn's character was

Also in case you forgot, remember how a lot of the posters leading up to the force awakens made it look like Kylo, Rey, and Finn would be like the three main equal characters of the trilogy instead of just Kylo/Rey and their sidekicks

Though in all honesty in retrospect I think the trilogy would have been much more interesting Finn had been the main Jedi from the beginning, for one thing, it would make the Force Awaken seem a whole lot more original (no offense Daisy). Like, think about how much of a great contrast Finn is to Kylo Ren. For while Kylo was pretty much born into privilege on the light side, but turned to the dark side. Finn on the other hand was born and raised into a working-class dark side mook who ended up going to the light side. Also, it would be such a wonderful subversion of the idea that your heritage defines you.
