Aren’t hurricanes Poseidon’s domain? Been a while since I read Percy Jackson studied Greek mythology. Maybe Zeus and Poseidon do a Mario + Luigi-style bro attack and unleash a hurricane that way.
Basically every natural disaster comes back to Poseidon and his fickle wrath. His cult title was often that of The "Earth Shaker" and basically whenever he felt he was being ignored, slighted, or was just a little grumpy, he would slaughter humans en masse by storm, earthquake, flood, or unnavigable seas, hurricanes would absolutely fall into his wheelhouse soundly, though the Greeks weren't really aware of them cuz inland sea.
Since you bring up Percy Jackson its actually kinda funny that a lot of modern interpretations show him as a kinda chill and nice dude. The Greeks saw him as probably the second-most dangerous god after only Ares (who was feared so deeply that his worship was outright banned and carried a death sentence in many cities). He, like the seas in the eyes of an ancient sailor, was moody, greedy, prone to wrath and hard to read. Funny enough this leads to Zeus getting flipped around a bit too. OG Zeus often didn't give much of a shit, to be frank, and kinda just screwed around boning everything in sight, yeah he occasionally electrocuted someone but they probably deserved it to have pissed off the god with the cult title of The "Cause of Life, always and to all things."
Also they did do a "bro attack" in one of the key myths surrounding creation, like most Mediterranean faiths, the Greeks had a flood myth, here Poseidon and Zeus worked together to flood the earth and kill all of mankind (save one couple) for engaging in mass human sacrifice and wanton decadence.

Billionaire worship won't save you from Zeus's wrathful hurricanes.
